Improving Functionality Through Design
Analogy Design addressed the technical and ergonomic limitations of Aditya Scientific’s rotary evaporator. By combining industrial design, prototyping, and UI/UX design, every element from the chemical bath movement to cable organization was optimized. The touch-enabled interface replaced cumbersome knobs, enabling intuitive user control. Lab productivity and workflow efficiency were enhanced, setting new industry standards for modern laboratory equipment.
In 2021, Aditya Scientific tasked Analogy Design reimagining their 5-litre rotary evaporator.

The redesign integrated advanced industrial design, design integrity, and prototyping to ensure precision in every component. Ergonomic placement of controls and a streamlined touch interface reduced errors and improved lab safety. Analogy’s expertise in color, material, and finish created a cohesive, visually appealing product that aligned with the brand identity. By testing prototypes in real lab environments, Analogy refined user interaction and validated performance.Materials were chosen for chemical resistance and durability, ensuring long-term reliability.
